LíngGu 靈骨

Location: Between the wishbone of the thumb and index finger on the back of the hand, at the junction of the first metacarpal bone and the second metacarpal bone, connected to the Chongxian point.

部位：在手背拇指與食指叉骨間，第一掌骨與第二掌骨接合處，與重仙穴相通。

Anatomy: The interosseous tendons on the dorsal side of the first hand contain the radial artery, radial nerve, and pulmonary branch nerves.

解剖：第一手背側骨間筋，有橈骨動脈、橈骨神經、肺支神經。

主治：肺機能不夠之坐骨神經痛、腰痛、腳痛、半面神經麻痹、半身不遂、骨骼脹大、婦女經脈不調、經閉、難產、背痛、耳鳴、耳聾、偏頭痛、經痛、腸痛、頭昏腦脹。

Indications: Sciatica due to insufficient lung function, low back pain, foot pain, hemifacial nerve paralysis, hemiplegia, skeletal enlargement, irregular menstruation in women, amenorrhea, dystocia, back pain, tinnitus, deafness, migraine, menstrual pain, intestinal pain, headache, dizzy.

Acupoint selection:

selects acupoints with the hand slightly clenched and palm standing in the way that little finger on the bottom and the index finger in the toppers position. The location of the point is between the wishbones of the thumb and index finger, i.e at the junction of the first metacarpal bone and the second metacarpal bone, a 1.2 units away from the DaBai point, and can connect with the ChongXian point.

取穴：手微握拳且立掌，取穴，在拇指食指叉骨間，第一掌骨與第二掌骨接合處，距大白穴一寸二分，與重仙穴相通。

Technique: insert a 1.5 to 2-inch needle to the flat palm. If inserting deeply enough, it can reach to the ChongXian point (excessive needle).
Note: Pregnant women are prohibited for this point.

手法：用一寸五分至二寸針，平掌深針可透過重仙穴（過量針）。

注意：孕婦禁針。

DaiBai 大白

Location: On the back of the hand, in the depression between the wishbones of the thumb and index finger, that is, the depression between the first metacarpal bone and the second metacarpal bone (should be close to the second metacarpal bone).

部位：在手背面，大指與食指叉骨間陷中，即第一掌骨與第二掌骨中間之凹處（應緊貼第二掌骨）。

Anatomy: Here are the dorsal interosseous tendons of the first hand, which contain the radial artery, radial nerve, and pulmonary branch nerves.

解剖：此處為第一手背側骨間筋，有橈骨動脈、橈骨神經、肺支神經。

Indications: Minor asthma, high fever (special effect), sciatica caused by insufficient lung function.

主治：小氣喘、發高燒（特效）、肺機能不夠引起之坐骨神經痛。

Select the acupoint with a fist (make a fist with the thumb bent and touching the first section of the index finger), and take it 0.5 unit lateral to the web between the thumb and index finger.

取穴：拳手取穴（拇指彎曲抵食指第一節握拳），當虎口底外開五分處取之。

Insertion method: Use a one-inch needle, 0.4 to 0.6 units  deep, to treat sciatica; use a three-edged needle to treat asthma, high fever and acute pneumonia in children (special effect).

進針方式：用一寸針，針四分至六分深，治坐骨神經痛；用三稜針治小兒氣喘、發高燒及急性肺炎（特效）。
