• Observe the veins (muscles) floating on the palm. Those with blue color indicate coldness and deficiency;察看掌上浮起之靜脈管（筋脈），色青者主寒、主虛；

• The more severe the blue and black, the more serious the disease will be.青黑愈甚，病則愈重。
• The color red or purple indicates heat and inflammation.顏色紅、紫紅主熱、主發炎。
• The color of disease is mostly cyan.呈青色之診爲多。
• Those with soft and sunken muscles are weak. 肉軟內陷者屬虛。
• Diagnose the spleen by using Shang Bai, Chu Bai, Xia Bai of Tung’s points on the triple burner meridian on the back of the palm to diagnose spleen deficiency.掌背三焦經上，中白、下白一段診脾，凹陷為脾虛。
• If there are blue veins or soft flesh on the small intestine meridian on the outer edge of the palm (ulnar side), it is diagnosed as kidney deficiency. 掌外緣（尺側）小腸經上現青筋或肉軟內陷診腎虛。
• The appearance of blue and black color on the upper part of the lifeline near the side edge of the thenar eminence is associated with long-term internal injuries, stomach diseases and gastric ulcers, and the appearance of the blue black color on the lower part is associated with duodenal ulcers.生命線靠魚際側緣上段青黑主內傷久年胃病、胃潰瘍，下段青黑主十二指腸潰瘍。

3. When diagnosing gynecological diseases on the inner side of the wrist, red tendons indicate inflammation, while blue tendons indicate coldness and blood deficiency. 手腕內側診婦科病，紅筋主發炎，青筋主寒、主血虛。
4. Green veins seen in the gastroptosis area indicate swelling of the spleen.胃下垂區見青筋主脾腫脹。
